Pinterest is today’s hot site. But besides losing hours of your life to this latest social site, you can actually use Pinterest to grow your business.
If you want to give it a shot, here’s a five-step process Five Steps to Make Pinterest Work for You
1. Find out if a page on your site is being pinned
by going to: www.pinterest.com/source/yourdomain.com where you substitute a specific page from your website for “yourdomain.com”
2.Note the pages/items from your website that are being pinned.
What does this tell you?
3. Check out how the images appear on Pinterest
and see if you should update any of the images on your website so they’ll appear “fresher” not only on Pinterest, but on other visual sites as well.
4. If you’ve got a blog, begin listing and commenting on your “Top Pin of the Week.”
This will drive your readers to pin it.
5. Mention your top pin(s) on all your social site and in your email marketing.
