1. Be thankful.
At the beginning of each day ask yourself “What am I grateful for today? (I have this on a post-it on my monitor so I’ll remember to ask myself each day.)
2. Be inspired by your reading.
Read biographies and stories of ordinary people who have done great things.
3. Achieve your short-term goals.
Each day create a list of three things you must do and start off by getting those done. They don’t have to be huge items…but get them done!
4. Remind yourself of what you did well.
At the end of each day make a mental list of your successes.
5. Do something for yourself each week.
Celebrate your successes by doing something “just for you” every week.
